Golf at The Golf Club
Top 100 Ranking: #35
The Golf Club in New Albany was opened in 1967 and according to some critics it had the best design among the courses of that time. The course was built only for the entertainment of its members and their guests. As a result, this gentlemen-only course will never be able to host a major tournament.
The course was built by Pete Dye, who experimented by using different varieties of grass against the accepted norm of that time. His experimentation proved successful and made the course feel as if it had been here forever as soon as it was finished.
Package includes one round of golf for three (men only) to be used before August 31, 2012.
