The San Francisco Golf Club was built by A.W. Tillinghast in 1918. It is one of the most exclusive courses in America. Tom Doak redesigned the greens in 2001 and restored 3 holes back to their original layout. It is know for its conservative membership in the middle of a city known for its liberal population.
